algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Retrieve the tree index

Hi,

I have a tree like this

{0} N=4

{1} N=6

{2} N=4

{3} N=3

....

{527} N=5

and I dispatch them into two groups

group A

{0} N=1

{1} N=1

{2} N=1

{3} N=1

....

{527} N=1

group B

{0} N=3

{1} N=5

{2} N=3

{3} N=2

....

{527} N=4

What I want to do is figure out the same the item in group A and retrieve their branch index so that I can get the corresponding item in group A. Is there any way to make it?

Please be more specific what you want to do, as it is not clear. You talk about group A twice. You want to find the item closest to list A in list B?

 Try to use SplitList.
