link to robot strucutrul analysis error message

hello

im trying to link robot to grasshopper using robot structural analysis 2016 open API .

im always receiving this message when i try to run the component

(1. Error HRESULT E_FAIL has been returned from a call to a COM component. (line: 0).

does any body knows what is going on ??

Is that a C# component? Have you included the relevant COM assemblies as well?

There is a chance that you may have to wrap the Robot API and compile your own assembly to get all the relevant dependencies packaged up. Had to do that with a different API a little while ago; not as bad as it sounds.

the problem was with the administration account . the account used to login had to be super admin account one of the guys familiar with staad pro open API told me that .
