I want to update the interior and find furniture that looks original and soulful, and not like from typical salons. Maybe someone can tell me where to look for such options?

I wanted to update the interior and find something special, not typical from stores. I went to salons, looked at catalogs - all the same, without soul. And then in the process of searching I came across the site of Victoria Yakusha https://victoriayakusha.com/collections/furniture . This furniture is completely different: every detail looks as if it was created not for sale, but to bring warmth and meaning to the house. I liked how natural materials are combined with modern forms. I am already thinking about what exactly to order from the collection so that my interior will sparkle with new colors.

The thread about custom furniture made me think beyond joinery and finishes to the way a room actually feels once you live with it. When I built a narrow console to fit behind a sofa, the piece looked fine in daylight but felt cold at night until I rethought lighting and scent. Layered lamps help, but fragrance ended up doing more to soften the space than I expected. Before picking anything, I dug through goose creek candles reviews to see how throws, wicks, and strength hold up over time, and whether certain lines tunnel or soot on longer burns. That feedback pushed me toward slower, cleaner candles and seasonal scents that don’t overpower small rooms. It’s funny how a ‘furniture’ project turns complete only after the atmosphere is right—texture, light, and a calm baseline aroma.
