Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi, I am trying to install Kangaroo in a machine running Grasshopper 0.9.0076 and Rhino 5 SR 12.

When loading Grasshopper I get the following errors:

Object: MeshMachineComponent3 (level 1)
{
Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation.
TargetInvocationException
}

Object: MeshMachineComponent3 (level 2)
{
Could not load file or assembly 'Plankton, Version=0.3.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified.
FileNotFoundException
}

Object: KangarooA (level 1)
{
Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation.
TargetInvocationException
}

Object: KangarooA (level 2)
{
Could not load file or assembly 'KangarooLib, Version=0.0.9.9, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified.
FileNotFoundException
}

Object: KangarooZombie (level 1)
{
Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation.
TargetInvocationException
}

Object: KangarooZombie (level 2)
{
Could not load file or assembly 'KangarooLib, Version=0.0.9.9, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified.
FileNotFoundException
}

The Kangaroo main solver component is missing, as is Mesh Machine, but most of the other components are there:

I tried to install separately Kangaroo 2 and Kangaroo 0.99, in both cases I can't get it to work properly.

Files are not blocked and should be in the right folder.

Any suggestion as of why this is happening is much appreciated!

Are you absolutely sure that you've copied all the files (including the DLLs) to the libraries folder and have unblocked them?

Hi Will, yes, I copied the DLLs as well, files were not blocked to begin with so I didn't unblock them. It is a computer of the office where I work, so there might be some sort of security restrictions in place? I will check with our IT support if this is the case, but seems strange as other plugins are running without problems.

Hi mire, although two years passed maybe this is useful for someone else, you should unblock de zip file you downloaded before extracting the .gha and the .dll, if you don't do this, the extracted file does not have the "unblock" option.

greetings.

THank you....Thaaaanke you Carolina..you really save and save my time.

Hi... I have the same problem even after unblock zip folder...
