Chris, looks like you have a solid study going. You need to find a way to make this study physical. What will actually be built and how will the sun effect how it is built. For next week, maybe look at three different options of panels - the three options showing different ways the sun can interact.

Mitch, start thinking of how this will translate to a physical creation. Don't worry about exact form right now - it can remain abstract.

I used rhino to create the brick shape that I'm trying to accomplish through grasshopper. I've worked out a script that creates the octagonal grid and gives the bricks thickness. I'm having trouble figuring out how to add the square notch on the side of each brick. I'm also not sure how to align them in the correct rotated states (once the notches are added) to allow the wall to form correctly.

Please share any tips/tricks/advice.
