Hello Sencu,

the connection is through a GH custom component and using Robot's API. All the elements in the geometric model are translated to structural entities using the appropriate interface from robot's library.

 

For instance a planar surface is becoming a contour in Robot by decomposing its GH points and translating them to structural nodes. A similar proceduere is followed with different types of elements.

 

So it's a customised export relating with the model you want to translate.

So it really works the Robot export!:)

Can you tell how you managed to export from GH to Robot? I am curios how you export the plates and the tube ?!
