Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Final video of a light animation technique I'm working on using Grasshopper to generate a single toolpath, Processing to deal with the LED coordination, Esperant.0 to control the robot and cameras and sync the LED firing, and Kangaroo to provide the simulation.

There is no post processing involved in this animation - it is just a series of long exposure photos.

Its something very similar to this. http://vimeo.com/45859302

I dont exactly want to do a rendering on vray or anything specific

but i just need to show somehow, how this would work visualy do you undertand me? And since it looks loke you know alot what would you do? To represent this?

Thanks

Thanks, although I don't think this project is at all related to what you are after, since it doesn't deal with attractors, waves, or even rendering. What you are trying to do is definitely doable, but you are probably better off posting on the general forum. Try to include whatever you have done so far so that you are more likely to get responses.

Good luck!

Hello this looks awesome! I am currently working on a proyect and i need to make an animation to visualize a starcase that lights up when you step on it and the wave of light keep traveling until it fades. So i guess i would need to link a geometry together to a atractor and make them all work in unison according to the distance of the sttractor. I think i would use vray for the lights but i dont even know where to start to make this possible. :-$

Do you think you could guide me!

Many thanks

I am kind of under a deadline please help
