OPEN POSITION - Computational Expert / Architectural Designer

MMA began its lineage with unique, digitally-based collaborations, developed using advanced 3D software. michael mcinturf ARCHITECTS believes that architecture can organize and shape the functional, cultural, and technological currents of the contemporary world.

Our strategy is to balance the deployment of precise universal performance criteria with the creative agitation of local equilibriums, leading to unforeseen innovations. We aim to to blend high technology and craftsmanship in order to remain flexible and responsive to both controlled factory fabrication systems and more conventional construction techniques.

Officially established in 1995, MMA began its history with a unique, digitally-based collaboration for the design and realization of the Korean Presbyterian Church of New York. One of the first constructed projects to develop using advanced 3D software, this project is widely cited as a significant forerunner in today’s digital design age.

Since the inception of the office, we have sought to advance the conditions of architectural practice and continued to pursue the latest means of design exploration. The firm continues to complete award winning projects. MMA has recently completed church, recreational, and residential projects which have received design awards. Today we are engaged in solo projects and multi-firm collaborations ranging in scale from experimental furniture to urban re-visioning.
