algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Whole roof structure generated from a single master surface. Then parameters continuously updated, eg: number of members in U V, width/depth of each element etc...
If we changed the shape of the roof, simply input a new master surface at the start of the GH definition.

Hi Szada,

This was all modelled in Grasshopper for Rhino.

The gridshell is created in essence by creating a grid of UV points on the roof surface.

If you search the forum for what you're interested in doing, there is lots of advice and sample files to get you going!

good job!
Btw, I want to know whether this model considered the depth between Architeture surface to Center Line of Structure element? I think this is not a very difficult thing to deal with because the Master Surface is determined by Parameters.
