the component that u use to create the surface, "surface" .
will make all surfaces of all curves.
but the "planar srf" works like the command "_planarsrf" of rhino.
all curves that are incorpored in between others, it makes u the area between that curves.
that's just another way without occupy so much memory, thus avoiding those red or orange messages on the definition.

I tried to do it your way (I would have used surface split component), but I obtain only the surfaces of polygons and the curves mixed, not the main surface with holes. See attached

HI Gstei.
does not replace it, is another method of arriving at the final answer using less memory. because Boolean operations take longer in grasshopper, in this case the surface is small, but if it were larger with many piercings take longer. greetings :)

Hi! good work.
Try using "wave" component in place of "solid diference" it takes less processing time. You can also try using "fillet"and "scale" for the sizes and the interior sections. greetings :)
