algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Work done as part of past thesis in late 90's. Looked at linking the parametric geometric configuration tool Formian/Formex Algebra with a Dynamic relaxation algorithm for form-finding of minimal surfaces. There is usually only one solution for a true minimal surface that is in a state of static equilibrium for a constant surface stress and pre-defined boundary conditions. The ability of current relaxation solvers in the Rhino market to generate any kind of shape tends to make me a little dubious about their ability to actually create surfaces that are in a true static equilibrium.
