Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

This soon to be released set of components for m+ allows for the mapping of values based on mesh elements to other connected elements. In this case, vertex based data is mapped to the edges and corrected for adjacent face winding, which reverses direction. The correction allows the ends of the curves populated to adjacent faces to always meet at the edge. This component is meant to work with the Barycentric Mapping components to make a creation of transformative patterns easier to manage. The idea for this came from a student in the Pratt Institute UG School of Architecture's Applied Computation course, Yuli Huang, who was interested in Escher's transformative tilings.
