Eduardo A, your definition sounds pretty cool ! And I think you have do a very interesting work !

I have already used blocks definition for manipulate proxies on very large project (with some lines for describe the outlines of the object, in this case trees) ... But less scattering.

Unfortunately, It isn't simply a question of functionality (map distribution, collisions, exclusion, ...) but also of use (UI, interaction, ...), the 3dsMax plugins like ForestPackPro by Itoo soft., are very impressive, and do the same things will be unbelievable !

Some people, will say, wait a minute I wrote something interesting, but take your wallet ...

For me, if a tool give you the opportunity, isn't him whom do the real work ... And write all the definition are a real work, but here, this work is a pleasure ! No ?

Thus, all together, it's possible to do something collective, I prepare a post with this aim ... i hope you will participate (you have already start ;) ) ?

Could you take a look at my definition and tell me what you think...

it basically does that, and it also works on meshes, and breps...

Thanks Gurim ;)

I had already work on 3dsMax with scattering from the past (and present time) ... I will try to implement some very useful stuffs on Rhino like Forest Pack (Itoo soft.)/Multiscatter (Icube) plugins ... And of course, GH w/Python do the tricks but not as quick as that plugins !?

Finally, I will write a post for that, and I hope some people will help me to make a series of scripts for that kind of "must have" tools !
