Some more phex fun. 330 panels , 15 mins of computation (dramatically slow), few self-intersections (which actually may be repaired by nasty flipping).

The problem is : I cant imagine a better planarization effect with such a complex surface... have you guys seen any example with nicer hexagons ? (non trivial - with + and - curvature)

Aaaahhhh niceee!!!! Man I've seen that some guys had implement a plugin that uses galapagos algorithm to make optimization process. What method are you using? Brute-force iteration?
