The tubing underneath the fabric is a small diameter plastic plumbing tube. The cloth I got at a huge fabric store after a very long and unscientific process of walking around and testing the "stretchiness". It is clipped to the tube with small sections of the tube material with a slit along one side. The tubes are joined together with an off the shelf 90 degree elbow connection, which were surprisingly expensive given how cheap everything else was...
