I am drawing a boat these days, which I hope to build my self. So I have been searching the net for someone smart enough to calculate hydrostatics in grasshopper. At least I was smart enough to figure someone must be doing this:)

It would be interesting to compare the resulting floatation plane to one from Orca3D.

I like it.  I made a hydrostatics calculator a couple of years ago with GH.  There may even be another one out there.  Would  be nice to combine them all, or at least make a 'be all end all' definition.

I was recently playing around with using Galapagos to find the section area of greatest area (for use in cP calculation).
