Thanks, I simply set the bending resistances to 0 so as to get purely tension elements, some times a very low bending resistance coupled with a rotation joints at the deck end approximate the behavior of a cable. But for this I utilized karamba's components to break beams into their resistances. Then by identifying the beam name and setting the bending resistances to 0 for that group of members, all the cables act as tension only :)

WOW!

Great work. Fantastic job. The way your cables are working purely in tension. I’ve been trying to achieve this for a while. Do you use Millipede or Karamba or some other plug in? How do you set the cable to work in tension only? What should the boundary conditions be? Any additional info will be highly appreciated.
