Yeah so far I got it, but since I have about 700 panels, I really liked to have some idea about the hard part to :-)

I really dont know even where to start, since I want to combine it with the def that create the curves to get it right.

Have to scratch my head some...

Thanks anyhow!

I mean its easy to put a number on each  panel just count the list and put this as label in the middle , the hard part is to label the corresponding edges of every triangle..

Hi Petersson,

well there is really no trick there I just figured it out only by trial and error, also comparing the form to the 3d, I kept it as manual as possible as an experiment , to see how this will reflect on the form. Next time I will try and label everything, I have some ideas but didnt tried them yet. Keep me posted if you find an easy solution.

best regards

Hi Kiryakov

And thanks for the whole story at Tumblr. I also have been watching the great videos from exlab.org but the tutorial about labels are not yet there, so I wonder how did you do to keep track of the position and orientation of all the panels?

I plan to cut it with a laser so I have to know which panels goes where and how it is connected to next panel!

Happy for any tips

Best regards

Per
