Hyperbolic Paraboloid Conversation Canopy 2

Pasadena City College students in my Architecture 14 class constructed this suspended Hyperbolic Paraboloid Conversation Canopy employing Sierpinski triangles in about three days.

Start to finish, their entire project was only three weeks. These guys have just over a year of architecture school under their belt.

Entirely scripted and prepared for fabrication with standard Grasshopper libraries.
