very nice...I suppose you could imbed some sort of pattern into the facade in a very delicate way which would respond to the position of a viewer.

This is pavilion in Krakow, Poland. It is some kind of tribute to polish painter : Stanislaw Wyspianski. Check other photos at http://pl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pawilon_Wyspia%C5%84skiego_2000 (its in polish but there are some more photos) 

 

Pavilion was designrd by Ingarden&Evy , polish quite famous (locally) bureau. They sometimes cooperate with Arata Isozaki : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Manggha

dont know if it was made with Isozaki, but its one of the best polish project last years. its polish pavilion for expo at hannover.  all covered with wicker :D
