algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Me inside the wonderful Ciolo Bridge at Gagliano del Capo (Lecce), built in 1967 by A. La Tegola according to the Maillart technique. The bridge over the sea fjord is in fact composed of a thin arch and a stiffening deck, features that make it one of the rare examples of Maillart bridges in Italy

For your consideration and interest :) this is something (in Italian sorry..) about Antonio La Tegola!!

No is not by R.Maillart. Only the tecnique and structural type are the same. La Tegola is an italian eng but not so famous... I've done a research on this bridge and I know that :) otherwise is obvious that Salginatobel and other pure (and signed) Maillart bridges are better than this is infact an Italian example, different in terms of construction and historical period. The reason of this post is only linked to the rarity of similar works in Italy! I'll post other examples as soon as possible :)

so was the bridge built by Mailart or just in his technique? i googled 'A. La Tegola' but it only comes back with a place. Its impressively thin/simple but to be honest i don't think its one of his best...
