Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

This weekend i was working on a digital painting. The base photograph i shot a couple of years back from a 'theyyam' ritual at Kerala, India. I passed it through Grasshopper to get the colour triangles. Using that as a base the final image is painted in Adobe Photoshop.

Hi Patrick, I got the triangles from a delaunay mesh that overlay the image. Using image sampler, with the midpoint of the triangles as point input I extracted the colour values from an underlying bitmap image.
