Hi kaz I wrote a simple script to create these pattern, is actually really simple you just need to shift the position of a couple of points to skew  the quads, its very similar to the already existing component in lunchbox, I didn´t understood why you said that wasn´t useful to you, could you send me a screenshot of what you are trying to achieve ?

hi rodrigo ..is it typical surface division or you are using another approch ?

I am trying to rotate the v in a uv division surface but i don't seem i am able to
