Parametric wine rack
The client, a young couple, wanted a contemporary wine rack in the free area between the existent piece of furniture and the ceiling at their kitchen.
The design is based on the concept of attractors, keeping a propper diameter for the bottles where possible.
It was manufactured with Controlmad's CNC milling machine.
Material: 19mm. lacquered MDF

To me, wine is an amazing product, because even when we think it’s ready to drink, it’s actually still changing. Probably that’s why aged wine and bottles that are super old are so valued. Also, now there are wine display racks for retail, and it’s not just a convenient storage system, but special equipment to keep and improve the flavor over time.
