hei maurice,

is it also possible to build something like this without having a CT-data?If yes do you know the how?

I want to build something similar like 'theverymany' by mark fornes...and your picture seems to come close to it, or?!?!?

Give you please give me some hints???

hissaan,

I used the same method as you; CT-data to 3d model. You can use a marching cube algorithm and import the jpg's (instead of raw-files).

For generating a 3d structure you can use processing (in grasshopper). At the processing.org are several tuts about using mc-algorithms. Then make a connection with processing and grasshopper with a plugin. You can also play with matlab/mathematica.

let me know if you succeed!

Very nice work Maurice.

Maurice I am researching on bone structure. So far I have been able to take out data from CT scans to get models and micro structure of bones. I have had no luck in trying to make it on my own in grasshopper. :(

I am new to grasshopper and I really need your help to push my project further. Can you please guide me with the methodology that you took to make this bone structure. I will be highly please to hear from you.

Best,

Hissaan.
