dear csiby,

i m working with metaball(t)custom component for some time now, and i really liked that you work with non parallel planes unlike most of the others i ve seen. I tried to work on that direction, experimenting with the random planes you mention based on the points, but somehow i cannot make it right. could you please provide some information on how exactly these planes are generated? i m using the plane normals component but cannot make it happen.! hope to hear from you soon! thanx!!

thanks

with different point charges

in fact the lines are not interweaven, they are layerd

great work!!
could you explain us how did you achieve the non overlapping lines? I mean...that the lines are interweaved and not in the same surface.
thanks

You choose the Metaball(t) Custom component that needs  5 things:

P -points that are charged to generate the metaball

C- point charges

Pl- the planes in wich the curve-s are generated

I generated 100 random planes using the points (4) that are charged

By default the curves are generated on the XYplane, that is why You get 2d metaball

T, A = default

in grasshopper, i can only find mataball for 2d
