what i am calling the modeled component. as of now i have 4 points from an exploded tree that are configured to create 4 pt surfaces. i want to replace these, and have the 3 modeled components distributed across the quad surface. i'm not sure if this is possible. what i am trying to achieve is a quad surface, with an attractor point that determine the height of the modeled component. as the height increases, the diameter of the circle also increases. i think this might be a better route than 3 separate modeled components distributed across the surface.
in the file, you can see the shape i've chosen to give a range, showing the shortest modeled component with a small diameter, and the tallest with a large diameter but not too large, so that it doesn't extend outside of the perimeter of its base.
any suggestions from anyone?…

ownloaded "PanelingTools_March4_2012_WIN64.zip" from "http://download.rhino3d.com/Rhino/5.0/PT_GH/" which has 3 files. You put all 3 files in say the plugin folder of Rhinoceros5.0. Make sure that "PanelingToolsDotNet.dll is dated March42012.
Now if all that is done, open new session of Rhino 5.0, drag and drop PanelingTools.rhp, then open Grasshopper.

1-isolate and decompose the faces you want to "open"
2-isolate the edges, then evaluate edge, (point on curve is kind of an example of evaluating a curve), to get a point along that curve.
3-recreate a surface by using 2 fixed points and one sliding point, (step 2).

- PanelingTools rhi Installer now installs both PanelingTools plugin and PT-GH Add-On and save under (%appdata%\McNeel\Rhinoceros\5.0\Plug-ins\PanelingTools\...). Grasshopper 0.9 can now handle looking for ".gha" Add-On files in folders other than GH special components folder. You do not need to move files anywhere and it is strongly recommended to leave it where the installer puts them to handle future automatic updates and recovery.

always result in an odd number of intersections and I should be able to call the events in order.
My question is: How do I sort these to draw new lines from pt(0) to pt(1) then from pt(2) to pt(3) until the end of the intersection array ( (X-1) to (X) ) for each of the sets of intersections? I'm very familiar with Rhinoscript and know how this would work in that interface but I'm struggling to find the functions in GHopper.
