and a "coral growth" simulation (f=.0545, k=.062)." the scale of the pattern is dependent upon resolution (200 ?) and diffusion B (0.4 ?).
For the scale in z, you have to test in 2d first and see when the pattern is what you want. So you have a number of steps, say 1200 steps and if you want 200 slices in z you need to put "steps between images" to 6 (1200/200).…
he canvas redrawing and the Rhino viewport redrawing take some time as well (on my system 6 ms for the empty Gh canvas and 28 ms for the empty Rhino viewport). No timer can avoid that, to my knowledge. The trampoline computes timing after the solution is complete. This means that one cycle is: solution completed + drawn + user specified interval.
Hope that this helps to get started,

s than 40% on average.2. 8gb usage is steady at 28% 3. I've been now looking at 2 blank white screen, in both Rhino and Grasshopper for well over 20 min. finally I went for a walk at 10:25am, (its a beautiful day why waste it looking at nonexistent calculations, It would help if there was a timing function in the code that would let me know how long the calculations were going to take, came back 11:25am still no results. Had to Quit Rhino in the Start manager.
I have used all sorts of window programs for well over 25 years. Rhino and Grasshopper are the only 2 programs that I have ever seen that show totally white screens in their operating windows :(

t to work. I was getting an error message on the OSMshapes components. I searched the forums and followed these steps:Close your Grasshopper and Rhino.2) Restart your PC3) When it boots up again, in your Start menu's search box type: "UAC". Click on it, and a new User Account Control Settings window will open. Set the bar on the left to "Never notify".4) Completely turn off your Antivirus.5) Check once again if your access control to the C:\MapWinGIS_installation_folder\gdal-data\osmconf.ini file is still set to the values you previously reported in this post.6) Right-click on "Rhino 5" icon and then choose: "Run as administrator".7) When Rhino boots up, run Grasshopper, and open the newest create_3dbuildings_trees_streets.gh file from here. This got the script to work and eliminated all of the error messages. The thing is... The omsconfig file's settings switch back after a some time passes, so I have to keep going back to change them. Also If I don't right click on rhino and choose "open as an adminstrator" the script won't work. I'll get those same error messages when I open Rhino normally. I'm also not super comfortable turning off my antivirus software during the time that I am working. Are there more permanant solutions that I can employ without going through these steps every time?
Thanks,
Robert…
ld be by no means a general benchmark of all arrays and lists, but it would give an idea of where List<T> and where T[] might be more appropriate.
Here is how you could set this up: on my PC, with 1'000'000 arrays/lists constructions and 50 inner loops on each, "arrays vs. list" has about 1:2 speed relationship, and "array vs. unknown length list" 1:9. You can test on your system and change the tests, too. If you do, remember to build in release mode and "Run without debugging".

e (double click ggBake, models in GSA will instantly updating), but now under the new environment/software I can not bake. On my desktop there is also a txt file generated: RhinoDotNetCrash.txt
Please see attached 3dm and gh file, and the txt file by windows I guess.
Could you please have a look what went wrong? I even didn't change anything in my gh components.
Thank you very much for your time and help!…

1 jour ( Atelier ) : mercredi 22 septembre
