nually in Rhino works the bool command perfectly (with the GH BReps from your definition).
Have you tested your file in the latest version of GH and have you also Boolen the error?

dges.CollapseEdge(i); } }
Now it should be possible to do a similar thing with splitting long edges, but as far as I can see there is no equivalent SplitEdge method in the SDK. Maybe this is just an oversight and something that could be added. Otherwise I guess you'd have to make a new point along the edge, delete the current 2 connected faces and replace them with 4 new ones.
How does this relate to Kangaroo ? is it to improve the mesh before some sort of relaxation ? because depending on the type of relaxation, and how bad the initial mesh is, you might be able to just let the relaxation take care of the edge lengths.…

I don't seem to be able to upload images at the moment so here it is in text
[Surface]-->(S)[Sdivide]
[SDivide](P)-->(P)<Flatten>[Convex Hull]
[SDivide](P)-->(P)[Curve CP]
[Convex Hull](H)-->(C)[Curve CP]
[Curve CP](D)-->[Boolean]
[SDivide](P)-->(L)[Cull Pattern]
[Boolean]-->(P)<Invert>[Cull Pattern]
EDIT: It took so long to try and upload a picture of the solution that I was surpassed by the others :)…
2 in the third,... according to the number of 1 you have in your pattern branch. You cannot get 10 branches with 5 points in each as you described.
To apply your patterns correctly you need to :
- not graft the P input of the Cull Pattern component
- flatten the L input.
See the image below.
Is this what you're looking to achieve ?

uld be great to build some contemporary furniture based on whatever logic I can find behind these shelves...So far, however, I'm having trouble getting started. This one seems to be based on a 4x4 grid, but the lines are shifted so there are never more than 3 lines meeting at a point (i.e. only "L" and "T" connections - no "+")I have a few ideas, which I'll post soon, but I'm curious if anyone has any thoughts on how to go about this....…
tance method (between attractor points and centrids) is working fine when it comes to stablishing the scale factor or the curves, but I'm running into problems when it comes to getting the lengths for the lines. I get a warning message saying that the SDL "L" input was unable to collect data... when I compare the data from the distance def and that from the lines themselves, it seems to be compatable...
I've run out of ideas... can someone help?
Thanks a lot.
I'm attaching the files (GH 9.012 & R5)
Cheers!!!
