en breps and this formula says that all 5 is self intersecting despite if you check the visually, anyone can see that only 2 of 5 is self intersecting.
I tried to upload the files, but I cant do it, because I "500: Unexpected Error", and my message appears without the attached files.
Is there any formula available which is an exact solution? At least for my flat breps. I have searched on the net for self intersection surfaces problem, but I have found only very very long and complicated mathematical formulas which I could not translate to grasshopper.... …
0 ms to compute, and you want to run it every 500 ms, the time buffer will store the data for 400 ms and then pass it to the loop end component.
EDIT: You can also just use it with any definition, not only the loop.
EDITEDIT: It's multithreaded by default (the background thread invokes the expire solution) so it won't freeze the UI. You can turn the threading off and then it works exactly as your script.…
orithm is very smart and elegant, many solution (like the "modulus" comand to adjust numbers bigger than 1 i suppose) will be very usefull for my next Grasshopper challenges...
Anyway i tried it and i think it's all very clear thanks also to your explanations, the only thing i didn't get is why you test the majority of the parameters of the curve with "0.5" and then you dispatch them...
What do you want to achieve in that way?
Anyway the rest it's, in my opinion, well understood and very helpfull too!
Thanks again and again!!!

hing not acceptable. To build up the final results I tried to summarize some steps and script them but I got stuck.
1) Voronoi subdivision
2) Voronoi vertices connected to the center
3) Tween curves between center and boundary
4) Control of U and V parameters
Point 4 is really important because it will allow me to control the strength of the springs in the two directions in kangaroo. Voronoi curve is going to be an anchor and the point is going to pull the mesh.

Thank you for your answer
I have found two solutions for this simple case:
1° i use the C# script (made by S.Schiefer )
2° When i graft input parameter, it's work...

Hi Guys
I just would like to know if there any method to change a model from many surfaces to 1 single surfaces ?
Is there any GH can do that or even Rhino command ?
Thank you.
using one single panel size, based on your panel #1. So the concept is that each Skin Generator should handle panels of the same panel dimension. In your example, having different heights generates that gap at the second floor.
To solve this issue you should separate your breps based on this size constraint and use separate skin generators for each panel size. See image below
Orientation based panel layout. It is possible to assign different panels based on the surface orientation. You need to add different layout controllers for each different orientation you are addressing. I also added below an approach I use normally to achieve that.
I attached the gh file revised if you are interested.. Hope this helps.

ery bad solution. It is cryptic and it is not flexible.
You can't really understand what it does unless you right-click on the (i)
input and go to "Set Multiple Integers" to see what is inside.
Also it only works with a list of four items. Of course this might always be the case in your definition (i believe you are actually trying to connect points of a grid, right?).
Anyway, it's up to you really...
Cheers,
Nikos…
