ated in all editions of Architektura Parametryczna Workshops!Architektura Parametryczna Workshops Optimization Warsaw 2016 FAQWHEN?21-22nd May 2016 (Saturday-Sunday)HOW LONG DO THE WORKHSOPS LAST?The workshops last in total 16 hours.Saturday 10AM -7PM (with lunch break), Sunday 10AM -7PM (with lunch break)WHAT WILL I LEARN?On Saturday the optimization processes with solar, views and structural analysis will be explored. We will be discovering optimal solutions with the help of plug-ins such as Galapagos, Silvereye, Octopus, Karamba and Ladybug. In the Sunday morning we will learn how to present the results of the optimization: creating catalogues of solutions and printing the optimization graphs. In the afternoon participants will have time for the development of the personal project. HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?The workshops cost 600 PLN (or 160€) for Early Bird payments and 700 PLN (or 190€) for the regular payments. The 3-person group - 1500 PLN (or 440€ )EARLY BIRD?For those who are certain that they will attend the workshops, we have a special Early Bird offer till 30th of April 2016.HOW CAN I SIGN UP?Send an email to info@architekturaparametryczna.pl with the title: “OPTI WAW 16”.HOW MANY PLACES ARE AVAILABLE?We have only 11 places!WORKSHOPS: Level: intermediate – advancePerquisites: the basic knowledge of Rhino and Grasshopper3D. Plug-ins: Silvereye, Octopus, Ladybug, Karamba. Weaverbird. Python GHThe main aim of the 16-hour workshops is to give the participants the understanding of how the optimization process can be used in practice and how it can help in solving everyday design problems. The practical exercise will be supported with the short lectures explaining the theoretical background of the optimization algorithms. The general program of the Optimization Warsaw 2016 Workshops*:1. Optimization of the facade geometry with solar analysis.2. Optimization of the roof structures with Karamba.3. Finding the optimal configuration of the space frame structures with Karamba.4. Discovering the best location or/and geometry of the building in accordance to the best views from the plot.5. Presentation of the discovered solutions. *Some of the exercises might be changed.…
making a cluster (image 3) )Also here is what I get when I double left click on that newly created cluster:
There is not input/output parameters inside that window.Just information about Name, description, author, icon...…
ectural project, the efficiency of design communication and the control of information-flow are as important as the creativity of ideas. In response to the concurrent digital evolution emerging in the architectural industry world-wide, the Faculty of Architecture at The University of Hong Kong will host a two week intensive summer program named Digital Practice.Led by professors from The University of Hong Kong, as well as invited practitioners with expertise in practice of cutting edge digital techniques, the program offers participants opportunities to experience applications of computational tools during different stages of an architectural project, i.e. concept design, form finding and optimization, delivery, management and communication of design information under the team-based working environment. By learning advanced computational techniques through case studies in the context of Hong Kong, participants are expected to go beyond the conventional perception of technology, considering users and tools as a feedback-based entity instead of a dichotomy. The program, which is taught in English, includes a series of evening lectures related delivered by teaching staff and invited local architects. …
how to solve the problem with these sticks moving around all three axes?
You can find my finished project: http://m4h.hyperbody.nl/index.php/Msc1G7:Expert1
In the end I faked it, after trying for a long time, never thought about asking here.
The first GH file is the most useable, the one I used in the end is more developed then this but it's really messy and hard to clean up (though I will do it if someone wants to help me)
The second is an early sketch, easier overview,
The third one is messy but also has some ideas in it, don't think its helpful but just for the sake of it attached.

Specifically point number 3. The Latest Activity feed keeps going back to February for me. This happens across devices and appears to occur more or less randomly.
Y-Plane. The result should be as shown in 02.PNG. I connected the points with "_CurveThroughPt". The result are 16 curves on Z-Planes and 8 Z curves on Y-Planes. Now I would like to automize this process, because I have 500 of these parts. I already tried my best as you can see in 04.PNG.
Thank you for your help…
