The PC actually stops working because after a few seconds the simulation starts the fan inside the PC all of a sudden stops and for the next 5-10 mins I cannot do anything, even alt+ctrl+canc. After I wait for that time i get the followig error:

The thing is that if I raise the -aa parameter from 0.05 to 0.1 all works fine..

The image dimensions in pixels are defined in small panels (X=485, Y=759) and used to calculate height/width ratio. That is used to define height based on the 'X' slider (500), which defines width overall.
The 'cell size' slider is also in units and determines resolution indirectly. For any given X value, increasing 'cell size' reduces the number of grid cells (resolution) and vice-versa.
Independent of other parameters, 'Isotrim (SubSrf)' splits the base surface into sub-surfaces, onto which the circles are projected. The 'SrfSplit' does the heavy lifting (can be SLOW!) and finally, 'Sort' is used to select the resulting surfaces that contain the holes.
Benchmarks:

As noted before, a very long-standing, well-known bug in Grasshopper fails to save the Image Sampler component when I save a copy of your file. Very annoying, but there is a work-around. Copy/paste and connect the Image Sampler from the code you posted above into the place I reserved for it.
"Pro Tip": Always work at low-resolution until your algorithms are proven before cranking up to 10K+ geometry counts!

N = Number of rays per sample point
R = Maximum radius of sample rays. Any obstacles beyond the radius are ignored
O = List of obstacles (curves only). They will not be projected onto the sample plane, so you can have curves that are only partially 'active'.
Outputs:
P = Point at end of ray (at distance R from sample point) or point at closest obstacle along ray view direction.
D = Distance from sample point to P
H = Boolean indicating whether the ray hit an obstacle or not

Revolutions have occurred through architectural history and vary widely in terms of design methods and fabrication techniques. Focusing on inspiring natural form‐finding techniques, AA Athens VS works towards producing a large‐scale interactive prototype that alters in real‐time the perception of interior space.
Technology and architecture are coupled for the third year in Athens with a novel agenda of transforming an enclosed area and creating internal contrasting city‐life characteristics that transcend the local conditions. In collaboration with the National Technical University of Athens, Cipher City: Revolutions explores participatory design and active engagement modeling and continues building novel prototypes upon horizontal planes.
The toolset includes mainly ‐among others‐ Rhino Grasshopper, Processing and Arduino platforms. With the completion of the Programme participants receive the AA Visiting School Certificate. In 2013, the design agenda of AA Athens will connect with the agenda of AA Greece VS in the city of Patras. Participation in both Programmes will allow for a more extensive learning experience through additional tools like Autodesk Maya, Autodesk 3D Studio Max and more.

AA Greece VS aims on visiting a different city each year and construct a single large-scale model which will act as an active nod of communication among the various locations.
In 2014, the School will initiate its design agenda with an architectural approach that is focused on the aspect of connection. The city of Patras which is the starting node of AA Greece VS, was chosen by the European Commission to be the European Capital of Culture for the year 2006. The concept of the event revolved around the main theme of "Bridges" and "Dialogues", drawing benefit from the city's rich history and its position as a "Gate to the West", to underline the essence of the productive interaction of culture and civilizations in Europe. The AA Greece Visiting School investigates how well existing buildings with various sightlines and variant spatial grammars perform according to human perception. In sync with the flexible and adaptive concept of parasitical structures, the research focuses on the making of transformable large-scale creations that accentuate prominent architectural features of existing buildings. The research looks at how cultural factors, specific preferences, experiences, and expectations can lead to the transformation of architectural parasitical structures.

Abstracted as a fusion of various sub-systems, each subsystem of the tower will be investigated in relation to their various performance criteria. The correlations between the separate sets of performance criteria and evaluation methods will be analyzed, leading to the generation of unified design alternatives for a vertical system typology. In addition to the custom-made digital design and evaluation tools supporting the core methodology, Vertical Interventions will also highlight the fabrication and assembly of a large scale working prototype integrating the performative characteristics of each system in examination.

I don't want to wait until G2 so will re-state some of what I posted earlier, then offer a template for an ideal "fast solver" component ('B-Solve') that could be widely useful. I am ready to accept that it might be written in Python, C, or VB - as long as it's open source or built in to standard GH. If there is a GH plugin that will do this, I'd like to know that too, though prefer a lightweight solution rather than a big toolbox.
QUESTION: Is there a FAST (binary search speed) GH way to "solve" toward a goal by "moving" a single slider?
CONTEXT: I have a boat hull of a given displacement at rest. I rotate the hull to an arbitrary angle ("heel" caused by wind in the sails) and want to adjust a 'Z-offset' slider so the displacement is the same as it was at rest.
I can adjust the slider manually, zooming in for better control, and with a dozen tries or so, in a very short time, narrow in with a binary search method and get very close to matching the value.
When I hook up Galapagos, it runs on and on forever, trying values that are "obviously" further away instead of closer to the goal. When I can solve it manually faster than Galapagos, a different solution is needed.
OBJECTIVE:
I want a FAST solution that doesn't need any manual input. Ideally, it would respond like any other component and re-calc whenever its inputs changed. At worst, a 'start/reset' trigger, "soft input" so it can be used inside a cluster.
It doesn't need to control a slider, they just happen to be handy for defining a range and precision of values.

An extremely stripped down version of the problem using Grasshopper.
NOTE: One obvious problem here is that by using absolute value ('abs()') for the 'difference' here, Galapagos doesn't know whether it's too high or too low!
Instructions:
Start with 'Roll=0', 'Volume=1543.943'
Adjust 'Roll' to ~35 degrees
"Solve" 'Z-offset' value to return to 'target' (original) volume of 1543.943

'B-Solve' is the proposed fast solver component. Its 'solution' output is always in the range of zero to one, which is remapped by the green group as -5 to 5 and used as the 'Z-offset' for 'Pitch-Roll-Z'.
Starting value ('Reset') for 'solution' is 0.5, and 'B-Solve' tries different 'solution' values to make 'result' (the 'Volume') and 'goal' match. An efficient uphill(?) or binary searcher could be very fast.
Does this sound feasible? Can anyone implement 'B-Solve'?
Two at once?
The post noted earlier, Double loop and hydrostatics?, brings up a complication that's worth considering from the start... Depending on hull shape, the center of buoyancy may move fore and aft, away from the center of gravity, as the hull rolls. This induces a change in pitch so a second 'B-Solve' component could be used in the same model to adjust pitch, which of course changes 'Volume' again... Not quite sure how the two would get along?

I don't know how can create this surface!!…
