I will say that, for my studies with a couple thousand points, it usually takes 30 seconds for Grasshopper to load up the CSV into the comfort recipe component. We will work with 5 projects that meet the conditions to be re-thinked nowadays in parametrical terms. { FOA : World Trade Center / MAD OFFICE : 800M Tower / TOYO ITO : Relaxation Park / FOSTER & PARTNERS : Gherkin Tower / FREE : Soumaya Museum }
We will produce dynamic objects defined by parameters and modified in realtime.
We will learn to discretize, facet and panel in a non homogeneous way.
We will work with restrictions to determine our shapes, obtaining unpredictable results.
And we will take the control of what we produce : by measuring , visualizing and optimizing our parametric forms.

To accomplish what you see above, I made an array of the cone over a quarter sphere (surface),using the next definition:…
d additionally (again)..the value for diffuse radiation is assigned as a % of the direct-normal radiation..(see attached image #2).
So, my assumption is that the entire radiation data set of 8760*2 values is based out of just 7 empirically measured values. All of this still doesn't explain why the plot will turn out that way. I think I have figured out a bug. I will put that in a separate post..
