arget group The workshop is addressed to students of architecture and civil engineering faculties at master level from Estonia (11 seats), Latvia (3 seats), Lithuania (3 seats) and Sweden (3 seats). The selected students will have full scholarship that will include travel, board and lodging in Tallinn for 10 days (arrival on Sunday 03.07.2016 departure on Wednesday 13.07.2016). The workshop is funded by the NORDPLUS programme of the Nordic Council of Ministers (NCM) - Higher Education objective.
Description The use of digital and computational design tools is increasingly important for the activity of design and research for architects and engineers. It permits to integrate environmental and energy aspects from the very early stages of the design and planning process to achieve more performative, efficient and integrated buildings and urban environments. The workshop attendants will broaden their design and technical knowledge with solar design, daylighting and energy efficiency topics and will learn how to integrate environmental analysis and building performance analysis tools with parametric and generative methodologies in architecture and planning.
Location
Tallinn University of Technology – Departments of Structural Design and Environmental Engineering
Dates
From 04 to 12 July 2016

attached a file with a VBScript component that does the same thing (but also works if the file is on a network share).
The .csv file you sent only contains a single number though, but it should work fine. I use .csv files from Excel 2016 in Rhino 5 with many columns and thousands of lines with no problem.

mple, but this file creating towers of a particular volume linked to their equivalent low-rise volume where I make boxes using Bumblebee so I can build performance graphs etc in Excel should suffice.
Ultimately what I had in mind was to build an analysis tool that allowed me to explore the Simple Static Heat Losses in the spreadsheet for the design alternatives, or even to have a set of heat losses for each 5 storeys of the building height from 5 through 100 storeys - to understand heat loss, linked to Rhino/GH to plot a 3D landscape of these options. This would then be linked to HB so that I could (first) plot the solar gains on the building facades for one building in a neighbourhood of similar height, and then divide up these basic towers into bottom middle and top floor Energy Plus and Daysim analyses of a standard 5 zone division of the floor.
Failing the intelligence test, and not even being able to move from simple mesh to simple analysis in LB has the grand vision stalled at step 2!
BTW: with my (2016) version of Excel I get Excel.Interop error messages if I try to use the <Live> option for streaming the spreadsheet into Rhino/GH, so I re-read the spreadsheet manually by toggling the Boolean <Runit> option to read in the data.

d as CSV file can be read from Grasshopper Readfile component, but when I used excel 2016, it has this complain in Grasshopper Readfile component:
1.Before Solution exception:Could not load file or assembly 'ad4c257a-f262-470d-8c89-b387d933d6e2.dll' or one of its dependencies. Access is denied.
2. There is no valid parser available.
How can I fix this problem?
Thank you in advance.…
n that some of the components are no there in 32, I am still trying to figure out why the this ReadFile component does not work in Rhino 5.
Could it be that when my Karamba License expired, it somehow negatively affect some other Grasshopper components to make the not work properly?
Because previously as mentioned before that my the Readfile component works in Rhino 64bit when excel 2016 is not there and when my Karamba license is still working.
Should I reinstall Grasshopper entirely again for the Readfile component to work in Rhino 64bit?
In this case all the plugins I have will have to be reinstalled again in Grasshopper.
Please advise.
Thank you very much in advance.…

On this page, he shared few 3D coral difinitions and especially interested in first and second one.

I followed these instructions, succeeded to build Tetgen, placed the built files in C drive directory and tried to run the definition. Then some WindowsError came out as follows which I don't know how to fix.
My working environment is;
OS is Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit.
Rhino is version 5, 64 bit.
Grashoppper is version 0.9.0076, the latest version at this moment.
It would be great if I can have some help advice / comment.
I appreciate for your attention.
