Both a date and a time (11:35 on September 4th, 2010)
The .NET DateTime structure only really supports the third. It counts the number of 'ticks' (1 tick = 100 nanoseconds) since midnight on January the first in the year 1. It does not support any moment in history before the year 1, it does not support any date beyond the year 9999 (ok, not a big drawback that one) it does not support calendars other than Gregorian, it does not support time zones, it does not allow you to just specify a time only and leave the date blank or vice versa.
Some of these shortcomings can be hacked onto the structure, basically by hijacking the tick count and assigning special meaning to certain small tick offsets, but there's always trade-offs with such an approach.…

ll these 12500 points.
Group 1 would represent the point located at 0, 5, 10, 15, 20 etc.
Group 2 - 1, 6, 11, 16, 21 etc.
Group 3 - 2, 7, 12, 17, 22 etc.
Group 4 - 3, 8, 13, 18, 23 etc.
Group 5 - 4, 9, 14, 19, 24 etc.
I can create the pattern but the selection of points are all the points in row 0 and then all the points in row 5 and so on.
I would like the selection of points to start at the bottom left, and sequentially continue to the right and then continue on the 2nd row (left to right & bottom to top). i am hoping the pattern i am trying to achieve is more understood with the quick screen capture I uploaded.
the end goal is to be able to select all the points in the grid that are in each pattern.
Thanks in advance for any guidance with this. …

this data is waveform data.
i want to pick out only climax(for example in upper data, number 1 and 10) from this data.
i have this problem...that is, i do not know to do what.
i think my English is strange...so you are difficult to understanding my question.…
them into one solid).
By the reversed order of the Loft Curves, the SolidDifference is still not working when I trim the surface by a box1 which is scaled over the z axis. But it does work around the problem of the deleting curve number 13 or 11 or 5 or 4 or 0. Strange, strange strange..... Maybe something for David?
Is there an explanation why the reversed order of the lofting curves is working better?
Cheers,

could accomplish this by adding something like '5.0 + Slider * 3.0' into the expression field... (and having an integer slider with domain 0 to 6).

ifically: I have a 100' vertical plane lofted between curved top and bottom profiles. I contour it every 8' (normal direction is Z, giving me 13 horizontal curves). I use Divide Curve to divide each contour into 10 segments. The "Points" output of Divide Curve now yields 13 branches with 11 items each, corresponding to 13 contours with 11 points from the left end of the curve to its right.
I now want to string "vertical" lines, and connect all the 2nd items in each branch together, all the 3rd items, etc... in order to make a polyline that travels between each 2nd point or 3rd point. i don't want to use Cull Pattern/Nth/Index because the number of subdivisions could change (11 could become 20, etc).
How do I connect the Nth item of each branch in this tree? Moreover, how do I connect all values in a branch with their corresponding values in all other branches?
Thanks for any replies,
