X, Y & Z parameters. At the moment 'Z' parameter is set to 0.
Now when i use a planar surface components it works well. But because i have Z parameter i need Edge surface component to work well. Edge surface gives me a funny shape, not like planar surface.
Essentially with Z parameter as 0, edge surface should look like planar surface, or not?
When i try edge surface with simple 4 points it works. The moment it gets relatively complex i do not get desired result.
All the points 1-26 in the curve were formed progressively in order i.e. 1, 2, 2...26 in GH not in Rhino.
What m'i doing wrong?
cheers

r piece out of the mold if you reverse it, befor the porcelain shrink. The porcelain shrink approx 14% between the mold and the final piece after it have been baked.
You have your piece with only a 2 to 4 mm wall thickness It'sdepend of the time you let the "barbotine" dry in the mold before you empty it. Here the thickness is about 2 mm.
Yes the piece is bake in a kiln to approx 1000 °C .
With a thickness from 2 to 4 mm, you can play with the translucidity of the porcelaine to let the light come through like in my voronoî project in 2014 : http://www.grasshopper3d.com/video/vorono…

z=2, f=14
z=3, f=16
for y=3
z=0, f=..... etc etc etc
I have created the GH algorithm (attached), but I have trouble to run all the values of z range for y, before going to y+1 (loop in a loop). Do I have to set it up in VB?
Thanks in advance…
as list.lenght +1, the component will return the element at index 1 from the list.
Well, I'm trying to reproduce something similar within a VB component, but I not found the underlying logic. Could someone tell me how I have to do?
For example, in a list of 5 items, I want to find the index in the list corresponding to the number 22. It should be 2. If the number is - 14, the index into the list would be 1.
Is there any explicit method for this? or is a code-mathematical operation that can not see?
Thank You.…
with a single integer, it grabs that item from every path, for example i=2 will grab the 3rd point on each circle in the collection. Great. But is there a way to do that in a series (grab the 1st point in every circle, the 2nd, the 3rd...) and derive one dimensional arrays from each? If I try to input multiple numbers into "i" in the item component, it grabs a series from each path.
I can do it with a script component, but is there a way to do it without scripting?
I've included a scripted component to clarify what I'm looking for.
Thanks!…
