mented within Grasshopper. Following completion of this course attendees will be familiar with the Grasshopper interface and be able to build simple interactive / dynamic definitions and produce completed geometry for use in Rhino and other 3d modeling environments. Space is limited, so please contact NextFab about additional class times if currently available classes are full.…
ntation. Starting with an overview of Rhino as an all‐around tool for conceptualizing and developing architectural models, the class will then illustrate the potential of the software for geometry control, rationalization and the coordination of information across the design team. Further options for documentation production, visualization, interoperability with other software and BIM compliant workflows will be demonstrated. Each subject will be explained through the step‐by step development of examples and built case studies with detailed analysis of key commands and critical workflows. Vincent Nowak (Flow Architecture) and Annarita Papeschi (Zaha Hadid Architects) will share their detailed knowledge from their direct experience working on large complex projects at Zaha Hadid Architects as well as the intracacies of integration on smaller projects as Flow Architecture. Together they will demonstrate, through actual Case Studies, how Rhinoceros 3d was used in the design of various building parts and then ultimately integrated with other software packages to smoothly move between design and construction in a rational and efficient manner. The workshop has a limited availability so sign up today. Do not miss out the chance of learning from the wealth of experience that Vincent and Annarita provide. Registrants will need to provide their own laptop with the latest version of Rhinoceros 3d installed (trial versions also acceptable). There will also be two additional tutors with knowledge of Rhino present to provide assistance and troubleshooting during the workshop.

s:
1) Pick a surface.
2) Pick a group of points previosuly determined in a 2d "flat" view.
3) Transport those points to the surface.
4) Make the voronoi 3d tesellation around the surface.
That´s it! Thank you all!

ensive software tools dedicated to bridging the gap between Grasshopper (a free plug-in for Rhino), the Arduino micro-controller, the internet and beyond. It allows near real-time data flow between the 3D digital and physical worlds, and will read/write data to/from internet feeds, remote sensors, connect with machine vision protocols, and more.
