n cells and square cells.3. the tringle cells to be as holles in between the extrude shapes. (in the tringle cells I don't want to contain a 3d shape).4. The extrude of Hexagon and square should be gradual: from 2d shape on the grid, to 3d shape (by extruding and atrractors point)5. than to manipulate the grid by gradual enlarging and reducing it, etc. Therfore, as start I would like to create the grid when each shape cells will be sorted in separate array. Than to flow the grid along a 3d surface.
(all above I need to create in grasshopper).
THANK YOU !Niarch…

uld be much better than Rhino at huge mesh collections. I'd personally try free Autodesk Meshmixer and ZBrush first but most designers are more familiar with rendering programs like Maya or 3DS Max. I'm not familiar enough with architecture to suggest a list as only Revit and Sketchup come to mind.
Looking more closely, CAD Exporter is only for 2D curves and points, how silly, and it requires baked geometry in a Rhino layer:
I could write a Python script to export an STL but that would be a large ascii format file instead of binary. Better to use OBJ to retain quad faces, too.
Ah, well, OBJ files are also ascii format when exported from Rhino, so it would be quite easy to make a script to export those directly to disk from Grasshopper. Here is one box, 10X10X20 in size, with quad faces:
# Rhino
o object_1v 10 10 20v 10 10 0v 10 0 20v 10 0 0v 0 10 20v 0 10 0v 0 0 20v 0 0 0f 5 7 3 1f 5 6 8 7f 3 7 8 4f 2 4 8 6f 5 1 2 6f 3 4 2 1
If I have time I'll make a little script to write such OBJ files unless you can find a native Grasshopper plugin for direct OBJ export in full 3D for meshes.…
l then this font does not appear there. Is there a way to feed this 3D text tool a font from file directly without installing the font, or is there some other solution to this? Any tips are very much appreciated. cheers, and amazing tools!Julius…

Even if the output is still a string, when you connect it to a point parameter, it will be converted to a 3d point. In future versions the {} won't be needed.
If your csv file has more data besides the points, and say the points are the 4th, 5th and 6th numbers, use this code:
Dim str_list() As String
str_list = data.split(",")
data = "{" & str_list(3) & "," & str_list(4) & "," & str_list(5) & "}"

xtract picture frames with one small app[adapter]. I get a total of 131 images, [ So in fact they are the same as screenshot] and I use this image as imagery to 3d photogrammetry. Probably this is incorrect, but it's how far I can go without drones in place.…
