nto a max deviation from the original geometry of 0.015 (I don't know if this is acceptable) and speeds up the projection by approx 65% and the splitting by more than 80%.
Regarding the long times, it seems that after a certain amount of holes the solution time increases at a higher rate - for example cutting 100 holes takes about 1 seconds, while cutting 800 holes takes more than 2 minutes.
You could split the 30000 holes in smaller groups (using domains and sublists), calculate the resulting geometry, bake it and use it as the base geometry for the next cutting operation - it's a bit tedious but much more reliable IMO than having a computer working for days.

750, on the same coordinates above too. For a radius of 700 or 800, no problem at all.
2) For a radius of 700 it takes around 9min to generate the buildings, otherwise if I increase the radius over 800 it's the same forever processing time, unfortunately.
3) Yes, Paris OSM data are not very well documented. Maybe I didn't explain myself correctly before, I wanted to say that I have made a definition using other plugins (Mosquito and Heron) for generate simple extruded and random height buildings from footprints. With these ones the generating time is around 20min for a 15km2 area on the same location.
I send you my definition using gismo to show you how I proceed, maybe I'm doing it wrong, but I think not. Just ask if you need anything, glad to help if I can.…
elf. I think using some external script that can run multicore, we should be able to speed up this process. I'm looking for the peak radiation in each point (w/m2).
So if this "external script" could find the max of each point before importing to mono-core grasshopper framework. That would be great. Postprocessing in grasshopper is also quite slow with 800x8760 values.…
ce with a point. The list has 800 elements, and there is one point, I want the 200 closest triangles to the point to be in the first list, and so on until the furthest are in the 4th list.
Any recommendations?
The overall purpose is to create something like the attached image of the nendo door.
And what i have so far is in the screenshots.
Thank you so much! …
