hink you need recursion to modify the random seed; many other ways to accomplish that (use the length of each curve as the seed, for example).
Using multiples of twelve makes it harder for me to grasp the essence of the matter; another way of looking at it is that you want to generate random integers from 2 to 5 (24,36, 48 and 60) and have them add up exactly to curve lengths of 5 (x12=60), 9 (x12=108) or 14 (x12=168).
So you want to generate random numbers until their sum ('Mass Addition') plus 5 is equal to or greater than the curve length (5, 9 or 14). The last number in the series is then not random but just the difference between the two.
For example, for curve length = 5 (x12=60), there are only three possible numbers that can be used as the first in the sequence: 2, 3 or 5. If it's 5, you're done. If it's 2, the second number is 3 (5-2), if it's 3, the second number is 2 (5 - 3). You can't use '4' at all because the remainder, 1 (x12=12) isn't one of your solution options.
There is no point in generating the last number randomly, eh?
P.S. You didn't use 'Internalize data' for the 'Curve (Crv)' param in your GH file.…

simplified in the bake name attribute and on the bake object component. I was counting on maintaining that structure.

The entered text contains 2 or 3 segments separated by two or more consecutive dots. Examples "2..10", "2..4..10", "Pow(2, 1)....5*Sin(3)..10".
If only two segments are provided, then the initial value will be the same as the minimum value. If a bounds number or a default value is written as a simple number, then the number of decimal places will be harvested. I.e. "2..4..10" is not the same as "2..4..10.00" as the former will result in an integer slider and the latter in a slider with two decimal places.

element connectivities in text, when matched with the corresponding coordinates of the nodes from dupPt, it makes all the polygons again (Green lines in the picture below), exactly as the original.
So Im thinking its like reconstructing everything again from the original shape with new relation between coordinates and element connectivities.
So in this case, eg: 0 1 2 3 4 5 makes the hexagon, 21 20 0 5 to makes the trapz.
Well here it misses the '0' in the end to close the hexagon here, the same with trapz. However the 'string join' and cset somehow close it to 0 1 2 3 4 5 0 to makes the hexagon, and 21 20 0 5 21 for trapz.

Group 1 would represent the point located at 0, 5, 10, 15, 20 etc.
Group 2 - 1, 6, 11, 16, 21 etc.
Group 3 - 2, 7, 12, 17, 22 etc.
Group 4 - 3, 8, 13, 18, 23 etc.
Group 5 - 4, 9, 14, 19, 24 etc.
I can create the pattern but the selection of points are all the points in row 0 and then all the points in row 5 and so on.
I would like the selection of points to start at the bottom left, and sequentially continue to the right and then continue on the 2nd row (left to right & bottom to top). i am hoping the pattern i am trying to achieve is more understood with the quick screen capture I uploaded.
the end goal is to be able to select all the points in the grid that are in each pattern.
