emble machines (and require custom Articles for specs, cost pre-estimation and the likes).
Putting yourself against that "forest" you should answer the question N1: you want to just use (the unsafe option) these or cross the Rubicon and collaborate in some way with the software vendors? (the safe option plus numerous benefits: knowing what's in the pipeline years ago, solving bugs in no time etc etc etc).
The question N2 is: do you get involved (or you want to) in "developing" all that the one way or the other? If yes using what "platform"? (so to speak).
The question N3 is: what are your estimations concerning the future in our trade? (count the tremendous acceleration of things as well plus the unavoidable AI factor (sooner or later)).
By answering these 3 ... you can easily answer the other questions of yours.
Bad news: future is past already.…
onstrates the following:
1. The definition's functionality employing HumanUI for the custom user interface.
2. Color based segmentation in manual and auto modes.
3. The evaluation of the definition's ability to handle different point cloud data sets.
This definition performs color based segmentation in two modes.
A manual mode, that implements the Delta-E CIE 2000 color difference formula, for targeted feature detection. An auto mode, that employs a simple RGB Color Range algorithm for quicker preliminary results.
RGB to XYZ to CIELab conversion and Delta-E scripts were based on Colormine's project code from github. Results have been compared and verified with the results of http://colormine.org/color-converter and http://colormine.org/delta-e-calculator/Cie2000.
Each stored class is charted and can be accessed through the UI, as shown at 2:30, where Delta-E CIE 2000, in CieLab color space, output results were found to be in perceptive conformity with human eyes, far superior to the preliminary RGB implementation.
Initial definition versions could process highly subsampled clouds in acceptable timings. Further research showed that employing the multithread processing of Volvox components, bundling the Delta E formula with the RGB to CIE lab color conversion script, per color segmentation calculations for a one million points point cloud would go down from 23 (c# script component) and 8 (vb script component) seconds to approx. 1 second (volvox script cloud component), thus allowing the segmentation of less subsampled point clouds.

is a exhibition building) generic outline (easy with GH), (b) real nested parametric part inclusion in the definition (hmm), (c) a GH ability to bake structured geometry to Rhino...and then Rhino (acting as a "companion" app to a given AEC app + FE analysis + cost analysis + ...) export properly structured data.
2. "Whole" and "Detail" here are tightly related : there's no meaning to promote an "idea" without solving the nuts and bolts of it. This is the so called "bottom-to-top" design mentality.
It's a mystery to me why GH doesn't include, say, some ways to control bake on a per block basis (actually on a per nested block basis).

j. to rhino for architectural scenes.
(unispiring ... I admit)
On recent iOS the app doesn´t work any more, so I figured out, if I should think about making a "light" version of that plant growing thing, with a definition on GH,...
I try to imagine any kind of simple setup to start with,
since I am a middle / low skilled GH user celebrating allways the taste of succes ...running an ordinary GH definition.

It seems the sender in your app and the UDP receiver in GH have are sharing the same port. I would chose two ports, one for each application. GH will listen for messages sent to its port from your app, and your app will listen to messages on its port sent by GH. You would give the UDP sender in GH the port for your app, and when you send messages from your app, they should be sending to the port given to the UDP Receiver in GH.
The (7), (14), and (8) deal with the bit size arrangement of the data to be sent. ASCII Text is a 7 bit character encoding http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/system.text.encoding.ascii(v=VS.90).aspx, in the background the stream of doubles is working in an 8-bit array. This is a part of gHowl we have also been meaning to revamp in order to make sending of more specific data types a possibility. Hopefully we can tackle it in the next revision.

basis).
2. Rhino does not have a proper object display capability (objects per layer per view basis and/or per "collections" per view).
3. TSplines does NOT have any on-the-fly coordinate system definition capability (making "edit" a pointless waste of time). A small example about what this means as regards view navigation matters: imagine "hoovering" along a myriad of 3d objects: if you choose/opt for it: the moment that you touch an element (that could define a vector): this instantly becomes the working plane Z axis (very common capability in top MCAD apps). Not the same as a SpaceNavigator controller mind (far from it).
If these 3 were available > rebuilding anything with TSplines could be a joy (and very fast: about 2 minutes for your mesh)
Get this as well - Load Rhino file first attached in my previous reply (just for fun: not for your case, but we could do an extra WOW MERO spaceframe out of this paranoid M mesh).
BTW: Exo W is "tricky"…
mation capabilities, feature driven modelling etc etc. If you are not familiar with these find a friend of yours and ask a kinematic demo (best is the notorious Siemens/NX a click above CATIA).
Alternatively have a look on Modo 8 (stunning animation capabilities - but solely key-frame based).…
question. Why are you using Win 8 or Win 10, instead of staying with Win7 ?The 102 page long EULA from Microsoft asks you to accept, prior to the install, should give any thinking person pause, and to think carefully before he or she is accepts the consequences of installing Win 8 or Win 10.No IT profession would allow any company to install Windows 8 or 10 on their companies computer networks. Imagine for a moment your Doctor installed Windows 10, and now all his daily clients details are shared with Microsoft. Or imagine for a moment your Lawyer installed Windows 10, and now all his daily clients details are shared with Microsoft.Win 8 or 10 is an open apps shared OS that lacks any sense of network security.... stay with Win 7!…

I think you're out of luck in this case, there do exist automation tools on Windows that can start apps and press certain buttons, but I do not know which ones are good and which ones can be controlled via command-line arguments.…

3. Video reports with the definition's results, depicting the image acquisition path.
The process is displayed in real time, with minor speed up in some parts. The setup is responsive and benchmarks show that change between dense point cloud data sets is pretty quick (13-15M points, 40-250 images), with updates being calculated in impressive timings.
