element connectivities in text, when matched with the corresponding coordinates of the nodes from dupPt, it makes all the polygons again (Green lines in the picture below), exactly as the original.
So Im thinking its like reconstructing everything again from the original shape with new relation between coordinates and element connectivities.
So in this case, eg: 0 1 2 3 4 5 makes the hexagon, 21 20 0 5 to makes the trapz.
Well here it misses the '0' in the end to close the hexagon here, the same with trapz. However the 'string join' and cset somehow close it to 0 1 2 3 4 5 0 to makes the hexagon, and 21 20 0 5 21 for trapz.
Im very glad now.

elated with the Topology outputs:
So let's try to do (via components) the face reconstruction stage (the missing 4 as above):
Alias crenelatedEdgesTree as polylineTree.
Imagine a Lst that samples all the edges per Face ("changed" and "unchanged") as Curves.
1. Let's take face 3: this is surrounded by edges 10,11,12,13 and 37.
2. Has edge 10 "changed" (to polyline) ? No because in the polylineTree there's no branch {10} ... thus sample edge 10 from the EList (Note: apparently that's a boundary edge). Has edge 11 "changed" ? No ... blah, blah.
3. Has edge 12 "changed" ? Yes because in the polylineTree there's a branch {12} ... thus sample the item from that branch. Same for 13 ... etc etc.
4. Thus we have sampled all the surrounding edges as Curves and the next step is to join them > yielding a closed Curve.
5. Then we must "planarize" that Curve (by projecting it into the corresponding Brep Face plane) ... and the rest are history.
So ... try it and report any issue encountered.…
} (N=11) {0;1} (N=11) {0;2}(N = 11) {0;3}(N = 11) {0;4}(N = 11)
2. I run the Points that are coming out from the Divide Curve Components through the Path Mapper components with this definition:
{A;B} (i) > {A} (i)
3. I run data coming out from Path Mapper component through:
a) Parameter Viewer component and the result is:
{0} N=11 (data with 1 branches)
b) Point > Panel and the result is:
collection of 11 point (N=11) which is the exactly the same as the collection of point belonging to {0;4} (N = 11).
So, here is the question:
why the collection of points coming out from the Path Mapper {A;B} (i) > {A} (i) component is the same as the collection of points belonging to the curve {0;4}(N = 11) ?
Anyway ... It 's the first time I ask a question here... so I would like to thank you for what you do with your work! Thank you! You are really great!…
