In response to the concurrent digital evolution emerging in the architectural industry world-wide, the Faculty of Architecture at The University of Hong Kong will host a two week intensive summer program named Digital Practice.Led by professors from The University of Hong Kong, as well as invited practitioners with expertise in practice of cutting edge digital techniques, the program offers participants opportunities to experience applications of computational tools during different stages of an architectural project, i.e. concept design, form finding and optimization, delivery, management and communication of design information under the team-based working environment. By learning advanced computational techniques through case studies in the context of Hong Kong, participants are expected to go beyond the conventional perception of technology, considering users and tools as a feedback-based entity instead of a dichotomy. 3. On the left we have a freaky thing that does a "static" Matrix/Data Tree full of 1's. Matrix diagonal cells are 0. BTW: Who's David Rutten? (Google that). Who's the Lord (of Darkness) ? (don't Google that).
4. On the right we have some other stuff. Our goal is to modify "interactively" the values in the Matrix (or the "equivalent" values in a single dimension tree). Values are NOT 0/1 adding some "spice" in the forthcoming Parts that will do the desired graph .
5. So we have 2 sliders (that's obvious) and a 3rd one that controls the new value to be stored in a given Matrix accessed cell (or Item in the DataTree).
6. BUT ...er ... that value should take into consideration the already stored value in a given cell ... meaning that the slider should automatically "reset" itself "around" the previous stored value in order to allow you to modify things starting ... hmm ... taking into account the previous stored value on that cell.
7. This "minor" (kinda) little thingy would be included in Part 2. The reason for the omission is to give you time to understand ... what this omission means in real life.
8. There's another "minor" thingy removed as well. It will appear again on Part 3.

ment is always at parameter 0 and last element at parameter 1, so if my parameters "t" are: (0, 0, 1, 1, 1)
my output list will be simply: (6, 6, 10, 10, 10)
but if I send a series of parameters like: (0, 0.25, 0.5, 0.75, 1)
the output will be: (6, 7, 8, 9, 10)
a linear interpolation between 6 and 10.
With more than 2 values in "D", the type of interpolation can change the output, see this:

Note that I just built points with a sequence of number in X and interpolated datas to Y (see again definition) to have a graphical support for this "explanation".
"Interp" component give as output the same type of objects as you give as input, number>number, integer>integer, even directly point>point (!) and so on...
(P.S. as can you see, I've prepass values to a "number" component before the "D" of "Interp" component; this because "Interp" component doesn't automatically convert text to number.)
