could accomplish this by adding something like '5.0 + Slider * 3.0' into the expression field... (and having an integer slider with domain 0 to 6).

I tried to fix the COM with visual studio by updating the references but no luck.
I am currently using rhino 6 because i want to use the new make2d command in grasshopper. But the plug in doesnt work with 5 and 6. same issue.
Have there been any work on this ?
Thank you,

…
E.g.:
0 2 (A) = 2
1 2+4 (A+B) = 6 (AB)
2 6+4 (AB+C) = 10 (ABC)
3 10+6 (ABC+D) = 16 (ABCD)
etc.
Into a new list numbers:
{2,6,10,16, etc} that adding the previous number with the next number.
Thanks,
daniel

ll these 12500 points.
Group 1 would represent the point located at 0, 5, 10, 15, 20 etc.
Group 2 - 1, 6, 11, 16, 21 etc.
Group 3 - 2, 7, 12, 17, 22 etc.
Group 4 - 3, 8, 13, 18, 23 etc.
Group 5 - 4, 9, 14, 19, 24 etc.
I can create the pattern but the selection of points are all the points in row 0 and then all the points in row 5 and so on.
I would like the selection of points to start at the bottom left, and sequentially continue to the right and then continue on the 2nd row (left to right & bottom to top). i am hoping the pattern i am trying to achieve is more understood with the quick screen capture I uploaded.
the end goal is to be able to select all the points in the grid that are in each pattern.
Thanks in advance for any guidance with this. …

me. But if min = 5 and max = 12, then the range will be (12-5) = 7.
If you have only a fixed number of values, why not use a Value List to encode those?
You can still use a slider to select a value out of a list of presets, but the UI of the ValueList is more friendly, especially if the list of presets isn't particularly continuous. You can extend a single ValueList to have all 12 preset date+time combos as well.
Sliders values can be post-processed using an expression. For example you could add the 'x*3' expression to a slider, and then the value 0, 1, 2, 3, ... would be mapped to 0, 3, 6, 9, ...…
