2. Use a data recorder with a record limit (right click on the recorder to set this) at least twice the number of points and as large as possible to still run smoothly. (I am testing 50 points and have set the record limit to 1000 and it works ok)
3. Use [CullPt] set to "Cull All" (right click again).
4. And test when this list of points will be empty (list length equal to 0).
The accuracy of this depends on the number of points tested(larger=better), the record limit of Data recorder(larger=better) and the T input of CullPt(smaller=better).
If you want to be absolutely sure the simulation has finished completely, you could add another data recorder at the output of [Equality] and use [Mass Addition] to count the number of True's, so you could bake only after you have, let's say, 1000 true's.…
7th level recursion should handle all ridiculous cases although you might need an nearly infinitely fast computer and 1000's of GB of ram if a lot of floor levels also exist.
My hope is to be able to support any mesh complexity that grasshopper/rhino can support.

and 1000 ms cut-off time, it takes pachyderm about 20 minutes on my computer. On the same computer, it takes EASE just a few seconds to run that model.
There has to be something off that I'm missing. Does Pachyderm use all available cores by default or do I have to activate multi-core processing somewhere?…
wondering if there is a more elegant way to solve this problem than using the tree explode component and then connecting the outputs one by one (see file attached).
This solution is ok for 10 points but not for 1000 points. ;)

mm wide but by structural stick model is linked with all the parameters scaled down by 1000 so its only 4mm in rhino space.
I'm assuming its all OK as karamba will just assume the 4mm is unitless so it is accepted as 4 meters.
Further to this are there any tolerance issues too? i/e when working in mm the tolerance is .01, that's fine in mm but scary when working in meters. Not sure if GH uses the rhino files tolerance for doing it's calcs.

As you know it is easy to create 1000's of junk designs. We are attempting to build good "schema" for generative design. The quality of generation depends very much on the scheme. That is the touch part. So far there is not much out there on how to build "expressive models". Models that are capable of representing a very diverse set of designs. let me know if you come a cross any material on this. I will be very interested.…
