se the cull pattern, so I wanted to make the pattern using a function component. x=y. x= the original list and y= the interval i wanted to remove. So the pattern should be:
0: false
1:false
2:false
3:false
4:true
5:true
6:true
7:true
8:false
9:false
10:false
etc...…

i tried different weather file but also same result. it seems i have same problem. the file am working on is the radiation file i took from the examples . whats seems to be the problem?
thank you for your time…
lem is that I have a data tree of 15 branches (3 points in each branch) instead of a data tree of 5 brances (9 points in each branch) . Any help appreciated.
…
st with 6 branches the first 3 having 8 items and the last three having 4 items . I really want to say take list 1 and add list 2 onto the bottom of it so i get a list with 9 branches each with 4 items?
As always thanks wonderful forum!…
g a nurbs curve through a set of N-dimensional points is not the same as cubic interpolation of a linear data-set.
It's certainly possible to fit a nurbs curve through a set of point with a one-x-one-y constraint, but Rhino does not have such a fitter in the SDK, so it needs to be written from scratch.

to 9 sizes of a custom shape. IMPORTANT that it is a custom shape.
Process:
1) Create standard DXF drawings of the 9 custom shape sizes
2) Send DXF's to toolmaker
3) Toolmaker delivers tools and new DXF drawings
4) Input new DXF drawings into CNC Punch Machine
5) Program the CNC and make the panel
Problem:
3) Toolmaker delivers tools and NEW DXF drawings
Why this is a problem is because the CNC software is very sensitive. When we give the design to the CNC programmer, the 9 design shapes have to match exactly the tool shapes. The reason why the toolmaker sends new DXF's is because when he makes the tool, there are limitations he has to subscribe to (as with any tool making machine). THUS, the shape changes in the slightest (can't notice with the eye).
Is there a way to substitute the new DXF shapes individually? For example: take the smallest of the 9 sizes, and substitute our smallest with that geometry. Then take the second smallest and replacing that with our second smallest. etc. KEEP IN MIND that this is custom geometry that rotates in the design, it is not a simple linear application.
Thank you for your time, even after this confusing explanation :)

number of divisions on that curve as in the defintion (i.e. by 4). The offset in the def is slightly different and should cull two or three more curves as in the lists that show my aim below.
Basically I want to look into each branch of the groups of points from each closed curve . Marking in a list whether it contains a one or a zero (0= outside 1 = coincidents).
{0;0}0. 21. 22. 23. 2 {0;1} 0. 01. 22. 03. 2 {0;2}0. 01. 02. 03. 0 {0;3}0. 21. 22. 23. 2 {0;4}0. 21. 22. 23. 2 {0;5}0. 21. 22. 23. 2 {0;6}0. 01. 22. 23. 1 {0;7}0. 21. 22. 03. 0 {0;8}0. 21. 22. 23. 2 {0;9}0. 21. 22. 23. 2 {0;10}0. 21. 22. 23. 2 {0;11}0. 21. 22. 23. 2 {0;12}0. 21. 22. 23. 2 {0;13}0. 01. 22. 23. 0 {0;14}0. 21. 22. 23. 2
I want to create a list from these points. That marks each curve that pokes out, in a cull pattern as such:
20022210222202
Using a 1 where there are co-incidents in the curve points and the boundary. A 2 for true (outside points) and a 0 for containment. So I might be able to use the 1 in future developments - however if a true false list is easiest I can live with that.
So could I use F(x) function? - to look for 0 or 1's in each bunch of points and thus list as such for a cull pattern? or will Path mapper help me here? Or can I rely on simply grafting and splitting??
I am usure of the neatest solution and would love to learn. Hope you can direct me.rgrds
