number of divisions on that curve as in the defintion (i.e. by 4). The offset in the def is slightly different and should cull two or three more curves as in the lists that show my aim below.
Basically I want to look into each branch of the groups of points from each closed curve . Marking in a list whether it contains a one or a zero (0= outside 1 = coincidents).
{0;0}0. 21. 22. 23. 2 {0;1} 0. 01. 22. 03. 2 {0;2}0. 01. 02. 03. 0 {0;3}0. 21. 22. 23. 2 {0;4}0. 21. 22. 23. 2 {0;5}0. 21. 22. 23. 2 {0;6}0. 01. 22. 23. 1 {0;7}0. 21. 22. 03. 0 {0;8}0. 21. 22. 23. 2 {0;9}0. 21. 22. 23. 2 {0;10}0. 21. 22. 23. 2 {0;11}0. 21. 22. 23. 2 {0;12}0. 21. 22. 23. 2 {0;13}0. 01. 22. 23. 0 {0;14}0. 21. 22. 23. 2
I want to create a list from these points. That marks each curve that pokes out, in a cull pattern as such:
20022210222202
Using a 1 where there are co-incidents in the curve points and the boundary. A 2 for true (outside points) and a 0 for containment. So I might be able to use the 1 in future developments - however if a true false list is easiest I can live with that.
So could I use F(x) function? - to look for 0 or 1's in each bunch of points and thus list as such for a cull pattern? or will Path mapper help me here? Or can I rely on simply grafting and splitting??
I am usure of the neatest solution and would love to learn. Hope you can direct me.rgrds

The code is really simple but I´ll post it in case it´s useful for somebody in the future:
On3dPoint[] array = new On3dPoint[8];
// in this case, I fill the array manually :-S
array[0] = new On3dPoint(0, 0, 0);
array[1] = new On3dPoint(1, 0, 0);
array[2] = new On3dPoint(1, 1, 0);
array[3] = new On3dPoint(0, 1, 0);
array[4] = new On3dPoint(0, 0, 1);
array[5] = new On3dPoint(1, 0, 1);
array[6] = new On3dPoint(1, 1, 1);
array[7] = new On3dPoint(0, 1, 1);
OnBrep box = new OnBrep();
box = OnUtil.ON_BrepBox(array);
A = box;

I assume that branch 0;0 has N = 10 points, 0;1 N = 7 points.
In the photo the way you describe the points it is like branch 0;0 has N = 45 points, where subbranch 0;0;1 has null points, subbrach 0;0;1 has N=1 point... subbranch 0;0;9 has N= 9 points.
Most likely you need to just graft you initial data tree that has the following structure
0;0 with N = 10
0;1 with N = 7
0;2 with N = 9
0;3 with N = 5
0;4 with N = 8
without a file, or a solid description of your starting data structure all these remain assumptions.

a follow up question... how do I wrap a list onto itself at a certain frequency?
i.e. I want the list {1;2;3;4;5;6;7;8;9}
to become {1,4,7; 2,6,8; 3,6,9} wrapped every 3rd item

Hi,
I want to divide curve with distance between points so it will be like this:
1--2---3----4-----5------6-------7-----, ...
with values in range 1 to 50, must be simple but im stuck..
tnx
er of curves with variable number of divisions each, so i have something like this.
{0;0}
1 Point
2 Point
3 Point
4 Point
5 Point
6 Point
7 Point
{0;1}
1 Point
2 Point
3 Point
4 Point
5 Point
6 Point
7 Point
{0;2}
1 Point
2 Point
....... and keepts going
so what i want to do is to re-organize this list, making a new one with packages like all #1 items, all #2 items, and so on...
i know that i can do this with LIST ITEM but i have to use 8 list item components if i want 8 divisions in each curve, so then if divisions changes, add more components or remove.... that's not a really good way to do it.
is it any way to do it better?

of the panel in the middle (See attached picture 1). When exploding another panel, the command explodes the curve into 7 segments (See attached picture 2).
Is there a solution so that the explode command explodes the curve in just 4 edges, so that I can use the 4 edge curves as input for a surface from 4 edge curves?
I tried the Patch command, but this command will not give the right curvature of the surface, so I need the surface from 4 edge curves command.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
Thnx!!

Dim S As New NurbsSurface
Dim k1 As New Integer Dim k2 As New Integer Dim k3 As New Integer
Dim pt_2 As New point3d Dim pt_3 As New point3d Dim pt_4 As New point3d
k1 = 13 k2 = 14 k3 = 15
For i As Integer = 0 To 7 If k1 > 15 Then k1 = k1 - 15 End If pt_2 = L_pts(k1)
If k2 > 15 Then k2 = k2 - 15 End If pt_3 = L_pts(k2)
If k3 > 15 Then k3 = k3 - 15 End If pt_3 = L_pts(k3)
S = nurbsSurface.CreateFromCorners(centre, pt_2, pt_3, pt_4) TAB.add(S)
k1 = k1 + 3 k2 = k2 + 3 k3 = k3 + 3
Next
A = S
You dont realy need to understand the script but I want to be able to declare a dim as a Surface and on the core creat different surface from 4 pt.
Thanks for your Help,
