Objetivos:
El curso está dirigido a cada diseñador, ingeniero o arquitecto que quiere obtener una sólida base en modelado generativo y paramétrico dentro del flujo de trabajo en Rhinoceros.
En el curso se explorarán y construirán estructuras en el espacio paramétrico, incorporando entidades geométricas (Curvas, Superficies, Puntos, etc…) y usando patrones algorítmicos.
Cada paso será soportado con ejercicios que gradualmente incrementarán su complejidad.
El alumno aprenderá cómo trabajar con asociación geométrica y parámetros. Para perfeccionar asociación geométrica – asociación entre partes, asociación dinámica – las formas geométricas son generadas al seguir la conexión lógica entre la parte geométrica y su restricción, dimensión paramétrica y él proceso dinámico del diseño: en pocas palabras estimulamos el pensamiento relacional.
Resultados:
Los participantes con éste entrenamiento obtendrán las siguientes fundamentos.
· Construir, modificar, depurar y correr aplicaciones de Grasshopper.
· Comprender el editor gráfico algorítmico y sus patrones usando grupos y cables conectores.
· Trabajar con dimensiones dinámicas, parámetros y listas.
· Generar aplicaciones orientadas a la documentación del diseño y la fabricación.

Moreover, participant will get the opportunity to develop passively design envelope. The workshop is highly interactive giving different examples that develop a strong understanding of Grasshopper Workflow & different passive strategies using the performance simulation tool (DIVA). The participants are divided into groups to study the different orientations and the final outcomes of each group are presented thus concluding the recommendation strategies for each orientation. giornata inaugurale sarà dedicata alla free-lecture introduttiva finalizzata alla realizzazione di un modello d'architettura complesso attraverso l'utilizzo di comandi e tecniche avanzate di rappresentazione con Grasshopper (plug-in parametrica di Rhinoceros) e 3dsMax. Sarà illustrato inoltre il potenziale di V-ray per 3dsMax realizzando un rendering concettuale. Durante il mini-corso dell' openDAY verranno mostrate le caratteristiche e le potenzialità degli strumenti per far luce sui nuovi valori assunti dalla modellazione 3D. La modellazione 3D sta interessando un pubblico sempre più vasto inserendosi in una nuova fase di ampia disponibilità per conoscenze, software, hardware di prototipazione e modelli. 2015. You will have the opportunity to play with an experimental large scale distributed framework we have been busy with over the last few months called 'Stampede'. You will get knowledge on MDO and parametric design, meet some of the developers of the framework, hands-on experience and investigate the gained results in an experimental atmosphere. You will be working with Rhino and Grasshopper during the workshop.
PROGRAMME
The workshop will start with an introduction on Stampede and the different technologies involved, such as cloud computing, parametric modelling and multi-disciplinary design optimisation. After the presentations, we will discuss an example use case, get to work with and gain some hands-on experience by applying your newly gained knowledge to design your own multi-disciplinary design optimisation model and investigate its behaviour.

The script I suggest simply reinterprets each list as a single item, and relies on the component data processing to split out the items list by list. This also has the advantage (over 筑梦NARUTO's solution) of keeping each list in its own grasshopper data tree branch.

teraction for its Correlations cycle, AA Athens Visiting School scales up its design intentions in order to investigate links among discrete individual architectural systems in its 2013 version, Recharged.
Recharged with interconnectivity on different levels, the theme of investigation will revolve around the design of semi-independent design prototypes acting together to form elaborate unified results. The driving force in Cipher City: Recharged is the synergistic effect behind complex form-making systems where interactive design patterns arise out of a multiplicity of relatively simple rules.
In collaboration with the National Technical University of Athens, Cipher City: Recharged will explore participatory design and active engagement modeling and will continue building novel prototypes upon horizontal planes.
As in 2012, the design agendas of AA Athens and AA Istanbul Visiting Schools will directly create feedback on one another, allowing participation in either one or both Programmes.

1. Standard application
The AA Visiting School requires a fee of £695 per participant, which includes a £60 Visiting Membership. If you are already a member, the total fee will be reduced automatically by £60 by the online payment system. Fees are non refundable.

For group applications, there will be a range of discounts depending on the number of people in the group. The discounted fee will be applied to each individual in the group.

surfaces resulting from 'SrfSplit' so they could be sorted to discard the largest one (in cases where a Voronoi curve crossed a surface seam, there are three resulting surfaces, not just two) and
The centroid for each Voronoi curve/surface required for scaling the holes.
So I created a cluster called 'pLen' which returns the perimeter length of a surface (the sum of the lengths of its edges) to be used instead of surface area for sorting (#1). And used another cluster I have called 'PtCloudCntr' that returns the mathematical center of a point cloud (#2). Both of these clusters are extremely fast and worked fine together as a replacement for 'Area'.
But in the process, I discovered and fixed a couple things:
In those cases where Voronoi intersection curves cross a seam in the "Primary Surface", I joined the two pieces together before creating the hole - eliminating the seam from the results!
Somehow the optional 'Bounding Box' used by 'Voronoi³' component got lost (oops) so it was cutting off the results bounded by the random points instead of the "Primary Surface". Fixed that and found later that in some cases (the 'Revolve Srf' in this code), it works much better to double the size of the 'Bounding Box'. Since there is no penalty for this, speed or otherwise, the larger box is used for all surfaces.
The results are MUCH BETTER than before. Surfaces don't lose their edges, holes aren't corrupted by seams and the code runs in roughly 2/3rds the previous times (30 seconds instead of 45 seconds for 438 holes as in prior code). For 100 holes, it takes only six to eight seconds to change the "Primary Surface" and get a new holed surface.
This 'Revolve Srf' is substantially smaller in scale than the other surfaces and due to its apparent complexity(?), it starts to degrade in quality with "large holes", i.e., less than 100 holes:
