s, I did some Poisson Disk Sampling, and am now attempting the Ball Pivot Reconstruction...Could you explain the concept of the radius / increasing the radius of the ball, it seems to be creating far more faces that vertices.
I set the Poisson Sample world units at .25, I did a ball radius of .15 which returned 2000 some very tiny surfaces very quickly. I upped the ball radius to .24 and its at 33% complete with 505,000 faces.
-Thanks for the recommendations and your time.

ssed through both series of Path Mappers and the script in parallel, note for example path {14;8} is culled as it contained no geometry
is there anything that can be done to prevent this? I had only just noticed it as the other locations i'd used it did not contain nulls
the problem that this seems to be causing is when Orienting geometry from one plane to another, these missing branches at the Geometry input seem to be creating duplicates as the Plane inputs have no missing branches - instead of getting {14-33;0-57} I'm getting {14-33;0-57} except for the last branch where i get {33;0-245}.
I don't really know why these missing paths are causing the issue but if i use the normal Path Mapper which doesn't cull these i don't get the duplicates in the last branch. Maybe i'm misunderstanding how this should work, but if branch {14;8} does not exist at the Geometry input of the Orient component, it should skip over this - the Source and Target Planes {14;8} are not used?
there is a second Gh file illustrating this issue, but i can work around it for now but switching back to a static Path Mapper

square units. Then you have an integral number of fragments on each side. This means that if all fragments need to have the same surface area, you can only have the following possibilities for side A:
1 fragment = 100 square units
2 fragments = 50 square units each
3 fragments = 33⅓ square units each
4 fragments = 25 square units each
5 fragments = 20 " "
6 fragments = 16⅔ " "
etc.
For side B, the numbers are mostly different
1 fragment = 300 unit²
2 fragments = 150 unit²
3 fragments = 100 unit²
4 fragments = 75 unit²
For side C they are different still. Unless you join fragments across on both sides of the edges of the box, I very much doubt you'll be able to pull this off.
The solution I attached will create fragments as identical as possible, but it's a very boring outcome...

very surface i.e. 33, which you are trying to match up with 3 surfaces in a single list. Which is the second issue you would need to graft the single list of surfaces before inputing them to both the P and C inputs. That way you are making GH Match the first surface with the first set of points and so on. and not every surface with each set of points.
To sort out the Data structure coming from the grid use a pathmapper with {A;B;C;D}(i) --> {A;B}…
