S!! I could save a lot of time if i did.
I recommend to add the install OF Readme to the recommendations thread. Specially people need to pay attention to the prerequisites (virtualization). Second of all, in case you uninstall and reinstall, before the later, be sure you delete the c:\users\YOUR_USER_NAME\.docker and .VirtualBox. It took me 3 installations and 2 uninstalls to make it work.
Now i have a question not related to the thread. Once i get the results, how can i use them without running again. This is a very dumb question, but i don't see the right component and input to do so.
And another thing. It is me or after the simulation is done (in the BF_simpleFoam) the GH canvas is behaving slowish? You can sense it pretty much.
Hagit: Not stuck :-). It is working. Tomorrow i'll try the outdoor example, which i see is your case.
Thanks,

This definition is designed for an outdoor study (an indoor example will follow shortly). It also includes a hopefully more user friendly UI that allows the user to set all the necessary inputs for the simulation and run the case without using the actual GH definition.
To use this example to its full extent, along with Butterfly (details on installations can be found here https://github.com/mostaphaRoudsari/Butterfly/wiki/Getting-Started-with-butterfly) you will also need the HumanUI tools (http://www.food4rhino.com/project/human-ui?ufh). However, HUI isn't necessary if you are only interested in the BF part of the definition which will still run.
Butterfly, and the example itself, is still a work in progress. I hope it can inspire people to get involved, test things out, and help it improve!
Kind regards,
Theodore.
P.S.: Add the path of the attached butterfly logo's location in your computer in the definition for a more buggy feeling :)

sier to print them on an A3 sheet for example. Very practical, i know, not very exciting, but I'm pretty excited about using Grasshopper to make these types of tasks super efficient.
This was working well with the previous version of grasshopper. I've updated to the new one today and have a problem i can't seem to fix.
I have 10 Floor Plates produced from the Section. I have 16 points on the grid. I wish to use Orient to place to first floor at the first point, the second floor at the second point etc. I assume I have to use 'shortest list' , because i don't want the top floor repeated to fill the points available on the grid. When i use shortest list i only get all the floor plates at the first point.
When i use 'longest list' at orient, the floor plate aligned to the grid point does shift but all the floors are carried with it, and of course all 16 points fill.
If you have any suggestions or time to have a quick look at the attached files it would be great.
As i said this was working perfectly with the last version....perhaps I'm missing something really obvious?
Thanks, Mark.…
o spend some time thinking about it. Also, I would like to see graphic precedents of how you think you will show your project. Please create a pdf.
Desk Crits:
We will be working on your projects in class this week. You will be required to work in class until at least 9 PM and you must meet with me before you go to get credit for the class. If it reaches 9 and I have not seen you - you can either stay (if you want a desk crit) or go if you do not need to see me. List is reverse from last week:

connected hyperspace where architecture can be fluid, flexible and vivid, yet the aspect of materiality requires more attention.
Action-designed structures begin to move beyond the utopian proposals of the 20th century’s manifestos and hold a place in the world of realized designs. The AA Athens Visiting School aims to bring users closer to the built environment while revisiting habits of designing, building and experiencing space through materiality. Understanding materiality and form as a ‘unified whole’, the programme integrates manufacturing techniques through the experimentation fabrication of prototypes at a 1:1 scale.
Prominent Features of the workshop/ skills developed
Participants become part of an active learning environment where the large tutor to student ratio allows for personalized tutorials and debates.
The toolset of the Athens VS includes but is not limited to Processing and Grasshopper for Rhinoceros, as well as design analysis software.
Participants gain hands-on experience on digital fabrication.
Design seminars and a series of lectures support the key objectives of the programme, disseminating fundamental computational techniques, relevant critical thinking, theoretical understanding and professional awareness.
Applications
1) You can make an application by completing the online application found under ‘Links and Downloads’ on the AA Visiting School page. If you are not able to make an online application, email visitingschool@aaschool.ac.uk for instructions to pay by bank transfer. 2) Once you complete the online application and make a full payment, you are registered to the programme. A CV or a portfolio is NOT required.
The deadline for applications is 28 June.
Location AKTO College – Athens Campus 11Α Evelpidon Street (Pedion Areos) Athens, 113 62, Greece
Fees
The AA Visiting School requires a fee of £695 per participant, which includes a £60 Visiting membership fee. Fees do not include flights or accommodation, but accommodation options can be advised.
Eligibility The workshop is open to current Undergrad and Graduate architecture and design students, PhD candidates and young professionals. Software Requirements: Adobe Creative Suite, Rhino 5.

een them to be adiabatic (at first. See later on for an alternative).
The whole process is fine/clear up to the solveAdjacencies: The walls are defined as "outdoors" and "surface" for the boundary conditions. So far so good.
Now i get to the HB_makeAdiabaticByType, and some issues appear (See A in the file).
Setting the interiorWalls to True doesn't change the condition from"surface" to "adiabatic" (A1 in file).
Setting the walls set both internal and external, to adiabatic (A2 in file). Is this supposed to work like this? Why the just the internal doesn't make the change?
In addition to this i'll appreciate your advice in the following. Let's say that i want the internal walls to be divided in 2 parts each. One should be adiabatic and the other "air wall". How do you recommend to do this? Is the modeling in the file correct, or i must do surface by surface?Or using the Decompose Honeybee Zone ...?
How can i retain the air walls and still use the makeAdiabaticByType component?
Thanks for your help!!

start (if there is a better one I would appreciate a hint), but I thought I populate a rectangle with points, interconnect the points to later let the borders of the rectangle attract each other.
I have 4 rectangles: A, B, C and D.
On each I have 20 points (A0-A19, B0-19, etc.)
Now I want to connect each point to all the points on the other rectangles, e.g. point A0 with all the (60) points on rectangle B, C, D.
I saw the discussions about the topic sorting lists (e.g. flipping), but I didn't see them fitting on this problem, or I don't know how to abstract them for me.
Also this is a problem I am having with another definition, so if someone could help me with that list stuff, I think I could use it furthermore.
But if there is a better solution to the rectangle organisation (tessellation), I am open for that.
regards,
Max
